Our Stage 2 Business Process and Objective Review is designed to help owners of Private Business gain clarity about what’s important in their business and personal life. We find the following are important when it comes to increasing the value of a business:
- Understanding the role that is played in the business by the owner.
- Understanding the relationship the owner has to their business.
- Knowing where the owner stands on the path to financial independence.
- Having an understanding of the various value worlds the business lives in.
- Understanding what strenghts the owner brings to the table.
- Knowing what stage the business is in. (Tactical, Strategic or Transitional) Making sure the owner takes advantage of stage appropriate activities.
- Knowing the difference between strategic action and strategic thought.
- How to take actions that will increase the value of the business.
As I add posts to this site, we will have the opportunity to discuss the topics above as well as anything else that can add value to the owners of private businesses.
