You must read Bit Literacy

Every once in a while I run across a book that makes a dramatic difference in my life. Usually these books are based on some simple truth about life, but in this case, this book is just about how to handle living in the electronic age and control your in box instead of having your in box control you.

The book is called Bit Literacy by Mark Hurst. In the book he gives us simple advice that makes it easy to control our email, set priorities and work on the things we think are important. He also has a wonderful little tool that helps with managing your to do list called gootodo. I highly recommend this tool. I’ve been using it for the last three weeks and have gained at least an hour and most days two hours of time. I also have been less likely to let things fall through the cracks.

First, read the book, then try out the software program. In fact, the book will give you directions on how to use the software in an efficient and effective manner.

Oh speaking of software, our new website is up and running. You can find it at www.stage2solution.com. We have changed this site so it reflects three of our businesses. There is a section for our Stage 2 Affiliates, a section for our writing business and one for those who would like to have me speak for their organization. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think. Karen Lynch worked very hard to get this new web site up and running.

Finally, we are thinking about putting together a Stage 2 Web site that you can private label for yourself. We would manage the content and part of that content management would be adding white papers and other articles that can help you in advancing your business towards one of total wealth management. If you have any interest in speaking with me about this, please contact me and I would be glad to spend some time talking with you about my thoughts.

In the meantime, have a great weekend.
