I normally spend my time in this blog writing about ideas, books or things that private business owners should consider or do. But, once in a while a product is so cool that it just forces me out of my usual pattern. This is one of those times.
Amazon.com has just come out with an electronic reader called Kindle. For someone like me who travels with four or five books, this device helps me greatly lighten my load. In addition, I can now receive both the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times and if I wanted ten or twelve other papers delivered electronically to my Kindle every day.
The great thing about using the Kindle for reading both papers is I don’t have to deal with the paper itself, there is no ads and the table of contents allows me to get to the articles I want to read quickly. Also, the size of the Kindle makes it much easier for me to read both papers. Finally, the Kindle allows me to reduce the amount of paper I have hanging around my office and house.
Oh, and because both papers are delivered electronically over Sprints cellular system I can get them wherever I am in the country. Today I was in Boston, got both papers and had the chance to read them before my meetings started this morning.
